On August 18, the 2024 CBA Summer League (Futian) & Greater Bay Area Professional Club Challenge concluded successfully at the Shenzhen Futian Sports Park Gymnasium. During the matches held from August 16 to 17, both Shenzhen Marco Polo and Xinjiang Yilite achieved two consecutive victories. On the afternoon of August 18, the third-place playoff was first contested between the Tianjin Pioneers and the Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Rent team. Tianjin Pioneers defeated Zhejiang Chouzhou Golden Rent 89–75 to secure third place, while Zhejiang finished fourth.
In the final championship game between Shenzhen Marco Polo and Xinjiang Yilite, the two teams remained closely matched through the first three quarters. However, Shenzhen Marco Polo surged ahead in the final quarter with a strong offensive run, ultimately defeating their opponents 114–96 to claim the championship title. Xinjiang Yilite finished as runners-up.
