Notably, during this event, the South Plaza of Shaanxi Provincial Gymnasium was transformed into a vibrant ‘basketball-themed park,’ featuring DJ performances, street dance shows, and other trendy elements. The event also integrated deeply with Xi’an’s local culture, showcasing regional intangible cultural heritage performances for audiences from around the world, creating an immersive viewing experience and leaving a lasting impression on players and coaches from various countries.
01 Event Recap: Thrilling Matchups Ignite the Ancient City’s Passion
Over the course of two days of intense competition, 16 teams from around the world—including Serbia, France, China, and Mongolia—delivered 25 high-level 3×3 basketball games, offering spectators an unforgettable showcase of skill and excitement.
In the highly anticipated final, China Chongming defeated the French powerhouse Bordeaux 17–12 to claim their first championship title of the season . Chongming’s import player Ford delivered an outstanding performance and was named MVP of the stop .
After intense competition, Chongming, Bordeaux, and Shanghai claimed the top three positions at this stop, earning qualification for the Ulaanbaatar Masters.
